Rachel Cairns - Creator/Writer/Producer
Rachel began shining shoes in the downtown Toronto PATH, instead of being a waitress, and took inspiration from the work to create this series. She also has two other award winning web series Mom & Me and BUDZ which you can check out on her youtube channel. She remains a gun for hire, gigging on stage and screen, while she continues to write and make things with her generous group of talented friends.
Libby Osler - Paige
Libby Osler grew up on a small island in Howe Sound, British Columbia. She discovered her love of acting at age seven while playing the devil in a dramatized sermon at her local church. Osler’s television credits include Proof, Supernatural, Fairly Legal, When Calls the Heart and Stargate Atlantis. She has appeared in the feature films, Seventh Son, No Men Beyond This Point and The Driftless Area. In 2014 she played the eponymous role in Kailey and Sam Spears’ sold-out production of Hamlet at the Renegade Theatre in Vancouver. One of the founding members of Blood Pact Theatre, Osler starred in their 2016 show, Kill Your Parents In Viking, Alberta, a co-production with Storefront Theatre. Osler is a graduate of the Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York City.
Emma Pollard - director/editor
Emma began making movies as a teenager while she attended the Mini Arts program at Lord Byng Secondary School where she majored in visual arts and film. As a young film maker she earned multiple awards including Best Director from the BC student film festival.
She continued on to study in England at the University of East Anglia where she received her BA honours in Film and English Studies. Aside from directing several student films, she worked as a music and culture photographer with publications in Subba-Cultcha and Supersweet.
Since her return to Canada, she has been increasing her experience as an editor and director making numerous commercials, trailers and music videos. Most recently Emma collaborated with singer-songwriter Nick Waterhouse (Innovative Leisure Records), going inside the studio with him and on the road across America for his second album release and tour to shot footage for an upcoming documentary she is directing about his music. Emma’s photography from the studio has appeared in publications across the United States including Rolling Stone. She also wrote and directed the music video for Waterhouse's song "Sleeping Pills" which was premiered by GQ magazine and received critical acclaim.
Genevieve Flemming - Kat
Genevieve Fleming is a Jessie Award-nominated actor, director, and the Artistic Producer of Hardline Productions. For Hardline she has directed the 5-time Jessie Award nominated and 2-time winning Of Mice and Men, as well as Never Swim Alone, Twelve Angry Men, 500 Days to Mars (Studio 58 Risky Nights), and Coercion (rEvolver Festival). Select performance credits include Bug(Hardline), Wide Awake Hearts (Hardline and Twenty Something), Us & Everything We Own and SubUrbia (Twenty Something), Private Lives (Citadel), Death of a Salesman (Playhouse), The Priory (United Players), A Christmas Carol (WCT), Rick: The Rick Hansen Story (MTYP/Citadel), and The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood (Carousel). Film and television credits includeMotive, Supernatural, Package Deal, and several independent projects. Upcoming projects include directing Scratch for Theatre Plexus, and the premiere of He Roars at the Vancouver Fringe Festival this fall. Genevieve is a graduate of Mount Allison University and Studio 58.

Carlo Marks grew up in and around the happenings of a small community theatre in the tiny village of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Upon completion of a BFA degree he established a professional acting career working in film and television in Toronto, Vancouver and Los Angeles. Funny story: It’s the last day of filming (May long weekend Monday). So far so good. We’re just about set up and ready to start the day when our actor calls. Actually his wife calls, because she’s driving him to the hospital (FYI: he’s fine now:) small emergency, he can’t make it to set. Panic. What are we going to do? We need an actor. We don’t have one. All of our friends are out of town for the long weekend. Our super sound guy steps in. He’s going to do it. Only problem is, he doesn’t have a suit. But luckily, a suit store has just opened down the hall by where we’re filming and what are the odds that they’re having a meeting on this holiday monday. So Rachel goes in with all the sweetness and charm she possesses and asks them to please lend us a suit for a few hours. Luckily they’re awesome, cool people so they kit Sound-Guy Steve out in a spiffy suit, which is what you see the customer in the first episode sporting. So thank you to the wonderful people at David E White for saving the day and our bacon.
